Peter Handke: Die Tablas von Daimiel -- Ein Umwegzeugenbericht zum Prozess gegen Slobodan Milosevic

Ich bin einer von den mehr als sechzehnhundert, die im Prozeß des Haager Jugoslawien-Tribunals gegen Slobodan Milošević als Zeugen der Verteidigung genannt worden sind. Nicht wenige der Genannten, zunächst zu einer Zeugenaussage bereit, haben sich in der Folge von der Liste streichen lassen. Der Hauptgrund wohl: Milošević war von seinen Richtern das Recht zur Selbstverteidigung entzogen worden, weil er krank sei. Gegen den Willen des Angeklagten wurde ihm ein Pflichtverteidiger bestellt.

SUMMA POLITICO said...: Ja das schlimme bei Handke ist doch dass er nach all den Auftritten und Fernsehsachen und Besuch von Milosevic im Gefaengniss und bei seinem Begraebnis er sich dann weigerte als "Experten Zeuge" in Scheveningen fuer Milosevics aufzutreten! Also wie viel der seiner Motivation sich darin einzumischen stammt aus Gerechtigkeitwollen, wieviel aus herausfordernden Exhibitionismus, oder sollte man diese Unterscheidung ueberhaupt in diesem Fall nicht einmal treffen.
